Axel surprised everyone by revealing that he is preparing to survive a global collapse.
The singer explained that he is a prepper and detailed his sustainable and extreme lifestyle
During his visit to the show Terapia Picante, Axel left the audience speechless by confessing that he has been training for years to survive extreme scenarios. The singer, invited by Alan Parodi, recounted how he became a "prepper" and explained in detail his way of life, very different from that of a traditional music star.
For some time now, Axel settled with his family in Córdoba, where he adopted a self-sustaining lifestyle, away from the urban pace. However, his revelation went beyond simple ecological living: he confessed that he stores provisions, possesses specific tools, and trains to face emergencies.
Axel and his preparation for extreme disasters
During the interview, the performer of Celebra la vida surprised by defining himself as a "prepper," a term that refers to those who actively prepare for catastrophes or social collapses. "I have food stored for a year, ready bags, knives of all sizes. I'm like a boy scout", he assured with a laugh, while tasting spicy sauces.
The statement caused a strong impact on social media. Axel detailed that his emergency kit includes ropes, carabiners, water purification tablets, and various water filters. According to him, the main goal of prepping is to survive the first three to five days of chaos, which are usually the most critical after a crisis.
The singer clarified that he doesn't act out of fear, but out of awareness. "It's not negativism or obsession. It's just being alert and prepared, nothing more", he stated. He also mentioned a massive blackout that recently occurred in Chile as an example of situations that can surprise anyone.

A self-sustaining lifestyle away from the noise
Beyond prepping, Axel has been cultivating a lifestyle based on self-sustainability for years. His home operates with alternative energies, solar heating, and rainwater recovery. Additionally, he implemented a gray water treatment system with biodigesters.
On his family property, they cultivate an organic garden, produce olive oil, homemade jams, and plant fruit trees. This way of life, according to him, not only responds to a desire to disconnect from urban chaos but also to a search for self-sufficiency in the face of any eventuality.
Although he has reduced his media exposure, Axel remains active on stage with his musical tour. Meanwhile, he keeps his commitment to a prepared and conscious lifestyle. "We simply train for any situation that might occur: a natural disaster or losing electricity", he concluded.
