Your iPhone's battery will last longer thanks to the artificial intelligence of iOS 19.
Apple launches iOS 19 with artificial intelligence that learns from you and automatically improves battery life
Apple launches a new update that promises to extend battery life in iPhones thanks to artificial intelligence.
The feature will be included in Apple Intelligence and will adapt to each user's individual usage. It will not only be available on the iPhone 17 but also on all models compatible with iOS 19.

What does artificial intelligence do in the iPhone battery?
According to Bloomberg, iOS 19 will include an intelligent system that optimizes energy consumption. It will do this by analyzing usage patterns to know when to reduce energy expenditure in certain apps.
The goal is simple: achieve better battery management without you having to do anything. The system adapts to your routines and makes decisions in the background so that the phone performs better.
A silent energy assistant
VICE explained that this mechanism collects usage data to act as an automatic assistant. It learns over time and adjusts performance without affecting your daily experience.

You will no longer need to activate "power saving mode" manually. iOS 19 will handle that for you, optimizing each resource based on your day-to-day.
Will only iPhone 17 have these improvements?
The iPhone 17 will be one of the first to fully exploit this feature. It will come with a slimmer design and a smaller battery. That's why it needs extra efficiency.

However, Bloomberg clarified that this tool will reach all devices compatible with iOS 19. It is not exclusive to the new model.
More than battery: complete redesign of iOS
Besides focusing on energy consumption, iOS 19 will include the biggest visual change since iOS 7. The Verge anticipated a smoother redesign, with bright icons and a more fluid interface.
The redesign, internally called "Solerium," will add a floating navigation bar and new menus for native apps.
