Ángel de Brito confirmed that Beto Casella is leaving El Nueve to join the screen of América TV. The news broke this Monday, November 13, on Los Ángeles de la Mañana (LAM), where the host revealed the first details of the move and the time slot he will occupy.
After more than twenty years at the helm of Bendita, Casella is starting a new chapter in his career. The journalist will be on air during the channel's prime time, in what promises to be one of the most significant moves in television.

"We are in a position to confirm that Beto Casella will be a star on América next year", De Brito announced on air. "He will be on at 10:00 p.m. with his show and with almost all his cast on this screen", he added.
According to the details, Casella will terminate his contract with El Nueve in the coming hours. His debut on América TV will be in February and he will go on air right after LAM. "Welcome Beto Casella to América starting next year," De Brito concluded.
Edith Hermida stays at El Nueve
Edith Hermida will be the only member of the Bendita team who will not accompany Casella. As confirmed on LAM, the journalist will remain at El Nueve as the host of a new version of the classic show.
