The countdown to the return of Gran Hermano 2026 is already underway and, as the premiere date approaches—scheduled for February 2—key details are beginning to be revealed about an edition that promises to renew the format. In that context, news shook the entertainment world: Marcela Tauro will be part of the reality show, although with a special role that is different from what has been seen so far.
The confirmation came from the journalist herself, one of the most renowned figures in entertainment journalism in Argentina, during an interview with Guido Záffora on El Observador (FM 107.9).
There, Tauro made it clear that her arrival on the show is already a fact, but she made sure to shut down one of the most repeated versions. "I'm not confirmed as an analyst, but I'm going to do something", she stated, generating expectations among the show's followers.
When she was directly asked whether she would be part of the classic debate panels that accompany the galas hosted by Santiago del Moro, the journalist was categorical. "It doesn't have to do with the debate, it's for something else", she stated, distancing herself from the traditional role that journalists and panelists usually occupy in the reality show.
Although she avoided giving details, her words opened the door to multiple speculations. From special appearances linked to game analysis to more direct contact with the participants or specific segments within the galas, the mystery surrounding her role quickly became a topic of conversation on social media and entertainment shows.
Tauro also explained that, although there is an agreement with Telefe, there are still administrative decisions pending between the channels involved in order to make her participation official. "I can't say anything. Besides, the two channels still have to talk", she noted cautiously when she was asked about the contractual details.
