Big Brother recreated The Nanny, and social media exploded with memes and criticism.
The sketch was not only an acting challenge, but also part of a charitable initiative
Days before the grand finale, the participants paid tribute to the iconic 90s series and the audience reacted with humor and controversy on social media.
The countdown to the grand finale ofGran Hermano (Telefe) has already begun, but the tension didn't stop the "hermanitos" from daring to have fun. This Thursday, the six finalists surprised the audience by performing a parody of The Nanny, the popular American comedy from the 90s starring Fran Drescher.
The sketch was not only an acting challenge, but also part of a charitable initiative: all proceeds from the activity will be donated to the Special Olympics, which will be held soon in the country.

Each player took on a classic character from the series. Tato was the host and psychologist to the stars; Eugenia stepped into the shoes of the unforgettable Fran Fine; Juan Pablo brought the elegant Maxwell Sheffield to life; Ulises portrayed the sarcastic butler Niles; Selva transformed into Sylvia Fine, Fran's mother; meanwhile, Luz played a double role, portraying both the haughty "CC" Babcock and the eccentric grandmother Yetta.
Social media, as expected, exploded as soon as the sketch aired. On X (formerly Twitter), users quickly shared memes, videos, and divided opinions about the performances. One of the most repeated criticisms was directed at Eugenia, who played the protagonist: "I didn't like it, she lacked charisma... 'the nanny' has more energy, more vibe," wrote one user.
Meanwhile, Ulises received numerous compliments for his commitment and versatility. "The number of characters Ulises has played in this GH... he gives it his all! He stands out above all the others," celebrated another fan of the show.

The most talked-about moment was, without a doubt, the unexpected kiss between Ulises and Luz, which caught many off guard and sparked a wave of memes and reactions.
However, not all feedback was positive. Some users questioned the quality of the performances, pointing out how difficult it is to do comedy, even for professional actors. "Very bad... it's not easy to do comedy, not even for actors with years of experience. Imagine them!" wrote a user with a critical tone.
