While continuing to evaluate possible signings, Boca is advancing on two operations that it considers key to keeping the transfer market open. Iker Zufiaurre and Santiago Zampieri are very close to being loaned to Uruguayan football, moves that will allow the club to free up the necessary spots to add reinforcements despite the closing of the transfer window.

The forward Iker Zufiaurre, born in 2005, is set to join Albion, while the left-back Santiago Zampieri, one of the prospects from the 2007 category, will continue his career at Montevideo City Torque. Both loans would be for one season and aim for the young players to gain continuity outside the club.

The departures have a strategic value for Boca. Since both players meet the requirement of having signed at least 25% of the sheets during the last season and will be loaned abroad, each operation will free up a spot to incorporate a reinforcement. The regulations allow the use of these spots until September 2.

Although Zampieri has yet to debut in the First Division, he was one of the main alternatives in the Reserve team and was behind Lautaro Blanco and Malcom Braida in the coaching staff's considerations. Zufiaurre, on the other hand, has already had his first opportunities in the professional squad: he played 9 matches and scored 1 goal against Vélez, although he lost ground in the offensive rotation.

Saracchi, another who would also benefit Boca

Meanwhile, the management is also working on the departure of Marcelo Saracchi. The Uruguayan left-back is being followed by Houston Dynamo from MLS, which has made a bid to acquire part of his rights.

Although this transfer would not grant Boca a new spot to incorporate players, since the Uruguayan left-back returned from his loan at Celtic and did not sign with the club during the last season, it would free up a foreign player spot within the squad, an aspect that is also important for the upcoming signings.
