Bombshell: Mastantuono reportedly has a preliminary agreement to join PSG in 2026

Franco Mastantuono is about to move from River. Paris Saint-Germain  is determined to move forward with signing the young player in this transfer window and already has a pre-contract ready to secure the Millonario's young prospect starting next year.

Two weeks ago, representatives of the French club met in Buenos Aires with various involved parties. First, they held a meeting at a hotel with the player's associates and representatives. Then, they shared a meal at a renowned restaurant with River's executives to begin formalizing a preliminary agreement for the transfer.

The young player's arrival at PSG is in response to a direct request from Luis Enrique, who wants him in his squad for 2026. Meanwhile, the agreement would allow Marcelo Gallardo and River to have Mastantuono available to compete in both theClub World Cupand the rest of theCopa Libertadores.

The release clause for the talented player born in Azul is 45 million euros, and from Núñez, it has already been made clear that they will only agree to let him leave if that amount is paid in full.

Since his debut in 2024 under Martin Demichelis, the 17-year-old midfielder has gradually earned a place in the first team, eventually becoming an undisputed starter.
