The victim's relative criticized Axel Kicillof's Kirchnerist government and the handling of the investigation
Lionel, Brenda's father, one of the girls murdered in Florencio Varela, requested that the investigation stop being under provincial jurisdiction and be transferred to the federal court, amid direct criticism of the Kirchnerist government of Axel Kicillof and the leadership of the judicial investigation.
"La Matanza is a circus, that's why I want everything to be transferred to federal jurisdiction. Everything is monopolized here. The judiciary, politics, the police, everything is unified, it's worse than Mexico," the man said in statements to the media, expressing distrust toward the authorities of Buenos Aires province.
Lionel's words reflect the pain and outrage of a family that is not only facing the loss of a daughter but also the uncertainty about the true responsibilities behind the crime. Brenda's father was skeptical regarding the figure of an alleged mastermind, identified in the case as "Pequeño J," whom police authorities pointed to as the leader of the criminal organization linked to the incident.

"Stop looking for invented names. This character is fictitious, where did you get him from? I grew up in La Matanza, to me, they're covering something up," Lionel said, in line with Morena's mother, another of the murdered girls, who had also expressed doubts about the transparency of the investigation.
The triple homicide occurred last Friday, when the three young women disappeared after getting into a white van in La Tablada. Days later, their bodies were found buried in the garden of a house in Florencio Varela, showing signs of extreme violence. The official version suggests they were victims of a "narco trap."

Visibly broken, Brenda's father also shared how he is coping with grief: "I wake up every two hours, I don't rest, I cry out of rage." Meanwhile, the victims' neighbors and relatives are protesting with roadblocks and demands for justice at different points in La Matanza and Florencio Varela. The main demand is for the crime to be clarified and for all those responsible, both material and possible masterminds, to be prosecuted.
Now, the families want the case, which already has several detainees, to be transferred to the federal jurisdiction, arguing that it is an incident related to drug trafficking networks and, therefore, falls under national jurisdiction.
