The ecclesiastical authorities of Córdoba opened a formal call with the purpose of gathering between 8,000 and 10,000 collaborators to provide organizational assistance during the stay of Pope Leo XIV in the province. The proposal is aimed at Argentine citizens or foreigners with legal residency who are between 18 and 65 years old as of October 8, 2026. The first stage consists of a digital application that does not guarantee direct assignment to an area, as positions will be granted according to the needs of the event and the profiles.
Selected applicants will be required to attend mandatory training workshops prior to the main activity days. Additionally, the organization requires advance availability for various operational tasks to prepare the venues where the faithful will gather. Priest Ignacio Loza specified that tasks will include receiving delegations, facilitating meetings, providing water, and assisting with first aid to ensure general order.
The representative of the organization detailed that registered individuals can propose their technical knowledge or professional specialties to join the planned work schemes. Registrations are processed exclusively through the official portal enabled by the Argentine Episcopate under the web address corresponding to the event. This extensive logistical deployment aims to coordinate the arrival of visitors and integrate support groups at key points in the province during the visit of the Supreme Pontiff.
