A firearm was found in the vicinity of the university campus where conservative leader Charlie Kirk was brutally murdered yesterday. The firearm was accompanied by ammunition bearing inscriptions with messages linked to trans ideology and the terrorist group Antifa.
The information was revealed—and later confirmed by authorities at a press conference—by journalist and influencer Steven Crowder this morning on his show, where he published an image of what appears to be an internal email from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), which was reportedly sent by an agent.
The email in question states that, on September 10, 2025, at 12:24 p.m., “the suspect fired from an elevated position in a building adjacent to the campus” and adds that “security cameras show the individual fleeing the scene after jumping from the roof.”

Subsequently, ATF agents and other agencies located a Mauser hunting rifle, .30 caliber, of old and imported manufacture, wrapped in a towel and abandoned in a wooded area near where the murder occurred.
The leaked document states that the weapon matches the striker's escape route. “The spent cartridge was still in the chamber and three unfired rounds were found in the magazine. All the bullets bore engraved inscriptions related to transgender and antifascist ideologies,” the text concludes.
Meanwhile, the firearm and ammunition were handed over to the FBI for forensic analysis, including DNA and fingerprint testing, authorities continue the manhunt for the killer, who is now believed to be a college-aged young man with connections to left-wing terrorist groups.
In this regard, several people who could be of interest to the case have already been detained or interviewed thanks to witness testimony and the review of audiovisual material. At Thursday's press conference, authorities described the weapon as “a high-powered bolt-action rifle” and confirmed that it was recovered in the area where the striker is believed to have fled.
