The transgender partner and informant of the left-wing terrorist was identified as Lance Twiggs
The transgender boyfriend of Tyler Robinson provided Utah police with text messages that proved decisive for the arrest of the murderer of conservative activist Charlie Kirk during the attack at Utah Valley University, according to the Daily Mail.
The informant and partner of the left-wing terrorist was identified as Lance Twiggs, who shared a three-bedroom apartment in Saint George with Robinson. According to an affidavit released by authorities, Twiggs showed investigators messages in which Robinson admitted to having hidden a weapon at the scene of the attack that occurred on Wednesday.

Twiggs's identity became relevant after outlets such as Fox News and the New York Post reported that Robinson lived with a “transgender partner” who was cooperating with the investigation.
Utah Governor Spencer Cox told the Wall Street Journal that Robinson was “deeply indoctrinated by left-wing ideology.” According to authorities, the firearm used in the attack was found in the vicinity of the university campus where Charlie Kirk was brutally murdered.
The weapon was accompanied by ammunition bearing inscriptions with messages linked to trans ideology and the terrorist group Antifa, reflecting the murderer's far-left ideology.

Twiggs, originally from southern Utah, studied at the state's Technical University and was a fan of video games, just like Robinson, who was studying to become an electrician at a nearby technical school. Both participated in gamer groups on Discord and used to share streams and videos on TikTok.
According to the affidavit, some of Robinson's incriminating messages were also sent through that group chat, which included former classmates from Pine View High School.
