An offhand comment on La Casa Streaming sparked an unexpected clash between the actress and the former Gran Hermano member

A comment that almost went unnoticed during the broadcast of La Casa Streaming ended up becoming the trigger for a new media conflict.
On the show hosted by Lizardo Ponce together with La Tía Sebi, Juli Poggio, and Lola Latorre, the panelists were discussing the trending series and, especially, La hija del fuego: la venganza de la bastarda, the recent Disney+ fiction starring China Suárez.
Lizardo and Sebi said they were following the series and highlighted its plot, while Poggio and Latorre asked for details about the cast and the development of the story.
In that context, the former Gran Hermano contestant asked a question that would later become the subject of debate: "Who's acting? China Suárez?"
Although she said it in a casual tone, on social media some users interpreted the phrase as an ironic comment or a disparagement toward the actress.
The clip of the moment went viral within hours. Upon learning of the situation, Eugenia Suárez decided to respond from her X account with a direct message to Poggio.
"Hahaha, it's strange that you don't know I act, Juli. I remember you as a little girl in the Polka hallways, when I was filming the most-watched show with your little sister, and your mom would bring you all dressed up to see if any producer would notice you and you'd land a role", she wrote.

The reaction caused an immediate stir. What drew the most attention was that the first to reply was not Poggio, but Lizardo Ponce himself, who has historically been close to Suárez.
From his account, he tried to de-escalate the conflict and clarify what had happened. "Oh, China... with all the things people say, are you offended by a comment like that? Juli simply asked if you were acting in the series. I misunderstood and clarified that you've always acted. That was all: talking about the series, your work, and not your media scandals," wrote the host.

This fueled the controversy on social media, where a large number of people took sides in the dispute.
"China putting Juli Poggio, the failure, in her place. She's still bitter because Cris Morena never called her, it seems, and she had to end up on Gran Hermano", wrote a fan of the former Casi Ángeles star. Meanwhile, another person, taking Poggio's side, remarked: "Juli ended up loved by everyone and she ended up hated. China really lost it this time. Poor thing."
