Octavio Appogh, better known as Oky,  was recently admitted to receive professional assistance. The decision was made after fragments of a live stream went viral, causing concern among his followers.

In recent weeks, the behavior of the Argentine streamer has caused unease both on social media and in public appearances. Finally, his inner circle confirmed his admission through a statement released on Instagram.

"He is going through a difficult time," they noted from his circle, thanking the public for their support and asking for understanding. The decision to admit him was agreed upon with family and friends, following the episodes that were widely shared on social media.

Strange behaviors and growing concern

During his last stream, several acquaintances—including friends, colleagues, and even his ex-partner—called him live to ask him to stop the broadcast. The atmosphere became tense and worrying, leading his circle to intervene immediately.

The clips were added to other videos shared by fans who found him in public. In them, Oky displayed disoriented behaviors, which reinforced the general alarm.

His close ones recalled that the influencer had been an important support for friends in similar situations. Now, he himself is going through a delicate process and is "supported and focused on his recovery," they assured.

Without confirming the exact causes or mentioning issues like substance use, the streamer's circle asked to respect this moment. "Thank you for the love as always. We ask you, please, to respect his family," they concluded.

Why Oky Appo decided to leave Argentina

In November 2024, Oky announced that he would not return to Argentina, which also caused diverse reactions among his followers. Through a video on social media, he explained that he was seeking a radical change.

"This is like when I left Tucumán for Buenos Aires. There's no plan B," he expressed, showing determination to start from scratch in another country.

The streamer stated he felt motivated and free from "toxicity," referring to negative ties that surrounded him in his previous life. "Here, blank slate," he noted with enthusiasm.

Recent controversies

Before his admission, Oky had already been at the center of controversy due to past episodes. Fragments of streams were leaked where he was seen being violent with his ex-partner Sasha Ferro and with his pet, which caused backlash.

Additionally, his separation from Tuli Acosta was also media-covered, after she accused him of having exercised violence during the relationship.
