Last year, authorities arrested 374 'naranjitas' for crimes and extortion in public streets
In Córdoba, a car guard, who people usually call "naranjita," became the protagonist of a violent incident again.
It is worth noting that in 2025 the Police arrested 374 "naranjitas" for crimes and extortion in public streets.
The latest incident of this kind took place in the Alta Córdoba neighborhood, when an individual was arrested, accused of causing damage to a vehicle after an argument with a female driver.
The incident occurred on General Justo José de Urquiza Street at 1900, when a woman who was inside her gray Volkswagen Voyage automobile observed that the individual was leaning on the vehicle.
When she asked him to move away, the man became angry and threw two aluminum rods at her, causing damage to the bumper and the left rear light of the vehicle.
In view of the situation, the driver notified the Police, which arrived at the scene and proceeded to apprehend the suspect, in addition to the seizure of the items used in the attack.
The procedure included the contribution of images from the security camera system and was carried out by police personnel with jurisdiction in the Alta Córdoba area. The detainee was placed at the disposal of the Justice system.
