University professors from Córdoba joined those from the rest of the country and will carry out a 72-hour strike this week.
The work stoppage will take place on Wednesday, November 12, Thursday, November 13, and Friday, November 14.
The measure was taken after analyzing the results of the national survey of university faculty and through the plenary session of Conadu's general secretaries.
A public demonstration will also be held in front of the Pizzurno building (CABA), together with other national federations.
Professors could strike at the start of the 2026 academic year
Another decision that was unanimously approved is to carry out protest actions at the beginning of the 2026 academic year if the government doesn't make progress in implementing the University Funding Law.
Finally, it was agreed to initiate legal actions regarding the opening of collective bargaining in coordination with the University Union Front.
About the exam periods
Although some unions wanted the exam periods to be suspended, the vote at the Conadu plenary opposed this possibility since the effectiveness of this measure could not be guaranteed and its impact on students' academic progress was taken into account.
