The initiative is funded by the European Union and will be implemented in three educational institutions in the province
Córdoba's Government formalized an agreement to consolidate dual education, which combines academic classes with internships in productive environments. The agreement was signed by the provincial Ministry of Education, Fundación Córdoba Mejora, and two business entities. The main objective is to bring students closer to real work experiences that enrich their technical training.
The understanding was developed with the participation of the Córdoba Chamber of Foreign Trade (CaCEC) and CIIECCA, which brings together the technology sector. Both institutions emphasized the importance of connecting education with business demand and local innovation. The initiative marks a key step toward the early professionalization of young people in areas related to production.
The program is implemented within the framework of VETBUS2B, a project financially supported by the European Union and aimed at technical education. In this first stage, it will be applied in three schools: IPETyA No. 53 Fray Luis Beltrán, Instituto Técnico Salesiano Villada, and IPET No. 66 Dr. Balseiro. Córdoba thus becomes a pioneer in the country in the implementation of this educational model.

During the signing, the Minister of Education stated: “This agreement is an essential step to strengthen the technical and professional training of our students, linking schools with the productive sector." Fundación Córdoba Mejora's director, Juan Pablo Cmet, stated: “We deeply believe in the power of public-private collaboration to transform education and create real opportunities."
From the business sector, CaCEC considered the measure a direct boost for regional competitiveness and innovation. “Training students with experience in real work environments strengthens the competitiveness and innovation of our companies,” said its president Marcelo Bechara. Meanwhile, CIIECCA highlighted the need to prepare students in technologies and strategic trades for the industry.
In the words of its head, “dual education is a strategic tool to bring students closer to the world of technology and industry. We are committed to this pilot experience laying the foundations for a sustainable model over time.” With this agreement, Córdoba projects a training scheme adaptable to the demands of today's market.
