The judiciary highlighted progress in adoption processes and called for reflection on the right to grow up in a family
The commemoration of the Provincial Day for the Right to Adoption was an occasion to highlight the importance of providing a home to those who need it. The Superior Court of Justice emphasized that the changes implemented since 2023 have already produced concrete results. Since then, 350 children and adolescents have started a new life with adoptive families. These advances were made possible thanks to the implementation of reforms that accelerated processes related to childhood and adolescence. The Office of Coordination in Childhood and Adolescence of the Superior Court of Justice applied clear work guidelines to avoid unnecessary delays. This allowed procedures to be solved more quickly and effectively.
Meanwhile, the Single Adoption Registry was reformed to simplify requirements and digitize the registration system. Since September 2023, the process has been carried out completely virtually and is accessible from anywhere. With this approach, processing times have been reduced, creating more adoption opportunities for families and minors.
Los cambios en la gestión administrativa también promovieron campañas de concientización pública
Campaigns and awareness to strengthen the culture of adoption
Alongside changes in administrative management, public awareness campaigns were also promoted. Under the slogan "Embrace their life, transform yours," families were encouraged to commit to adoption. In addition, the "Adoptions +12" campaign aimed to generate greater interest in the adoption of adolescents.
These initiatives had an immediate impact on the community by multiplying the number of applicants in a very short time. In just 15 days, the same number of interested parties was registered as previously took three months to reach. Various media outlets provided broad coverage of this transformation process.
The commitment to visibility was also expressed through the national campaign "To Adopt is to Illuminate". In this context, the Palace of Justice of Córdoba will be illuminated in violet as a symbol of reflection. The gesture seeks to remind everyone that every child has the right to grow up in a family that provides support, security and stability.
