An unusual event that miraculously did not end in tragedy occurred in Cosquín, Córdoba.
In the early hours of the morning, police personnel arrived at Av. Aviador Castillo in Bº San José Obrero where, for reasons to be determined, a Volkswagen Voyage vehicle with three 17-year-old occupants had fallen into the riverbed.
When the police arrived, two of the young people had managed to get out on their own. However, the third one was on a rock asking for help. For this reason, one of the officers jumped into the riverbed and using water rescue techniques, managed to bring him to the shore where two other police officers provided assistance.
A medical service attended to the three minors, who were taken to Hospital Domingo Funes where two of them were discharged and the third was referred to a private medical center for observation. The circumstances that led to the incident are under investigation.
