'Cyberpunk 2077': everything that changes with update 2.3
Version 2.3 arrives with more cars, customization, taxis, and graphical improvements. Switch 2 will come later
CD Projekt RED has confirmed the arrival of update 2.3 for Cyberpunk 2077, which introduces new content and improvements anticipated by fans.
It will be available starting Thursday, July 17 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. The version for Switch 2 will take a little longer.

What's new in update 2.3?
The new version comes with multiple new features that enhance the experience in Night City. Among the highlights are:
- Three new cars and one new motorcycle, which are unlocked through brand-new missions.
- Vehicle customization options, with designs that can be copied from other cars in the city.
- Delamain taxi service, ideal for getting around Night City without having to drive.
- Autonomous driving software to install in your own vehicles.
- New photo mode features, providing more freedom and tools to capture images.
Traveling without driving is also possible
With the new taxi feature or the autonomous driving system, it's possible to move around Night City without having to take the wheel. In this case, the vehicle follows traffic rules, even stopping at traffic lights.
More graphics options and expanded compatibility
The patch also improves HDR support and adds new visual technologies for PC:
- Compatibility with AMD FSR 4 and FSR 3.1 Frame Generation
- Support for Intel XESS 2.0 and Intel HDR10+
- Compatibility with VRR on consoles

When will the Switch 2 version be released?
CD Projekt RED explained that the Switch 2 version will take a little longer. They are still working on adapting the patch to this console.
