Delfina Chaves revealed the delicate state of health she is experiencing

The actress decided to open up about her mental health and revealed very intimate details

Actress Delfina Chaves decided to open up about her mental health and reveal very intimate details of her personal story. From her childhood to the present, the young woman has lived with anxiety, panic attacks, and sleep paralysis, three conditions that have marked her daily life, but which she now faces with tools provided by therapy.

In a recent interview, Delfina Chaves shared that the symptoms appeared when she was just a child: "My first memories of anxiety are from when I was about 12 or 13 years old. I saw reality altered, I heard sounds in different ways. Anxiety manifests in a lot of things and for each person it's different," the actress explained, showing her vulnerability regarding a topic that many people go through in silence.

The key moment in her process came when she turned 18 years old. It was after finishing high school that she decided to go to therapy, seeking to better understand her anxiety and the origin of her panic attacks. "It was very difficult. Many times I cried and told my therapist that I wanted it to stop happening. But she told me: 'I can't assure you that it won't happen again, but I can assure you that we're going to develop tools so you can handle it when it does.' That changed my perspective," Delfina, now 29 years old, recalled.

From that moment on, Chaves began psychological treatment that has allowed her to identify the triggers that exacerbate her anxiety. "Getting to know yourself is key. There are things you know predispose you to it, and that's where therapy makes the difference," the actress emphasized.

But anxiety and panic attacks are not the only challenges Delfina faces. A few months ago, through the social network X, she revealed that she also suffers from sleep paralysis, an experience she described as extremely distressing: "I can't control my breathing when they appear. It's like being trapped inside my body. I can't move or change anything. The only way for it to go away is to relax so I can fall back asleep, which is impossible," she shared with her followers.
