The return of  Diego Brancatelli to the screen of Argenzuela was not just any return. It coincided with the explosive confession of Luciana Elbusto about a secret romance that, according to her, lasted five years. The scandal not only put him at the center of the media storm but  unleashed his anger against the media and caused tension within C5N.

Brancatelli did not return quietly. According to revelations on A la tarde (América TV), the journalist demanded unusual benefits from the channel's authorities: a private parking space, restricted access, and a clear distance from the rest of the technical team. "Branca is furious," assured journalist  Daniel Fava, while they showed simultaneous images of his arrival at the channel.

Internal reproaches and demands for privileges

In the vicinity of C5N,  reporter Oliver Quiroz  detailed the atmosphere that day.  Brancatelli reportedly entered visibly upset, asking that his personal situation not be addressed on the program. The production agreed, though not without friction.

According to reports, the journalist had been using an exclusive parking space intended for managers, but that benefit was withdrawn, which further increased his discontent.  "He left the car on the sidewalk," they remarked from the América program, indicating that the privileges had vanished.

Elbusto's confession and Brancatelli's silence

Luciana Elbusto, journalist from Paparazzi, made the sentimental relationship with Brancatelli official in a video. She confirmed that they shared an intermittent relationship that became a firm bond over five years. She also spoke about her emotional situation and the impact caused by the rumors about her private life.

Meanwhile, Brancatelli faced the press outside C5N. He reiterated that he would not make statements and made his annoyance clear: "I'm not confirming or denying anything. It's a personal matter. The messes I made I'll solve with whoever I have to," he said, visibly uncomfortable.

He insisted on not wanting to fuel the media show. He assured that he chose to protect his family and would handle it internally. "I'm not avoiding anything, but I'm also not going to participate in this game. They've already talked too much," he launched, challenging the reporters waiting for him.

Cecilia Insinga: between exposure and family firmness

In parallel, his wife, Cecilia Insinga, posted a strong message on social media. Without directly naming the infidelity, she left phrases confirming the damage:  "In plain sight the male weakness, the spite, and the strength of good wood."

She also clarified that she would not speak to the press  to protect her children. She defended family unity and expressed that they would move forward as a block, beyond the mistakes made.

Brancatelli praised that gesture.  He said he found it "beautiful" what his wife wrote and that he admires her deeply. "This is solved at home," he assured.

Despite the media exposure, the journalist opted for silence. He showed anger, set boundaries, and reinforced his decision not to fuel rumors. Meanwhile, the commotion over his emotional ties revealed not only the intimate fractures but also his tense relationship with the media industry he lives from.
