Minister of the Interior, Diego Santilli, visited the province of Mendoza to meet with Governor Alfredo Cornejo as part of the joint work that the national government has been carrying out with the provinces. The meeting took place at a time when the transformation agenda led by President Javier Milei is being consolidated, aiming to modernize the State, promote investments, and organize public finances.
During the meeting, Santilli and Cornejo analyzed the guidelines for the 2026 Budget and discussed the possibility of supporting in Congress a series of structural reforms in tax, labor, and criminal matters, which are central pillars of the competitiveness and economic growth program promoted by the Executive.

Both the minister and the governor highlighted the importance of coordination between the Nation and the provinces to promote public works, attract investments, and strengthen macroeconomic stability. Santilli's presence is part of a federal strategy that Casa Rosada has been deepening to ensure the efficient implementation of its policies throughout the country.
