Diego Valenzuela met with Luis Caputo and was praised by the Minister of Economy
They analyzed the country's economic direction and highlighted local initiatives aligned with President Milei's ideas
Economy Minister Luis "Toto" Caputo received Diego Valenzuela, the mayor of Tres de Febrero, on Monday in a meeting where they analyzed the country's economic direction and highlighted local initiatives aligned with President Javier Milei's vision of deregulation and promotion of private investment.
During the meeting, the mayor from La Libertad Avanza shared with the minister a series of ordinances approved by the Tres de Febrero City Council that aim to transform the municipality into an attractive hub for new productive investments.
Among them, the tax stability ordinance stands out, as well as a municipal incentive regime similar to the national RIGI (Large Investment Incentive Regime), and an anti-blockade regulation that seeks to guarantee work continuity in the face of potential labor actions.

"One of the greatest interpreters of President Javier Milei's ideas is Luis Caputo. Today we reviewed the economic challenges and upcoming reforms to promote employment and investment. I told him about the tax stability ordinances, municipal RIGI, and anti-blockade measures we approved in Tres de Febrero!" Valenzuela stated on his official X account, highlighting the alignment with the national economic strategy.
Meanwhile, Caputo openly praised the measures promoted by the mayor and framed them within a model of tax competition among municipalities.
"The advantages of setting up in Tres de Febrero are already very clear. Diego Valenzuela has started tax competition, through substantially lower rates than other localities, his own RIGI, and the anti-blockade ordinance. This will translate into greater activity and job creation for residents in Tres de Febrero. Great work!" the minister wrote on his X account.

The meeting represents a new gesture of coordination between Milei's government and local leaders who actively support the libertarian structural reforms.
Valenzuela has managed to position himself as one of the mayors in Greater Buenos Aires who best interprets the new economic climate, aiming to create conditions of predictability and investment attraction in his district.
Tres de Febrero thus emerges as a case study of the positive effect that liberal economic reforms have when they are also applied at the municipal level, with their own tools and with the support of national policies that seek to unleash market forces and facilitate private development.
