Donald Trump destroyed the communist Democrat Ocasio-Cortez for defending Iran.
The President of the United States confronted the Democratic congresswoman from New York over her criticism of the attacks in Iran
President Donald Trumplashed out this Tuesday on social media against communist Democratic congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) after she described his recent decision to bomb three nuclear facilities in Iran without Congressional authorization as an "impeachable offense."
Through an extensive message posted on Truth Social, Trump accurately described Ocasio-Cortez as "one of the dumbest people in Congress" and nicknamed her "Stupid AOC" and "The Mouse."
Ocasio-Cortez had harshly criticized Trump after the attack became known, stating on X that "he has impulsively risked starting a war that could drag on for generations" and that "this is clearly grounds for impeachment."
The congresswoman from the Bronx incorrectly claimed that Trump violated the Constitution by ordering the bombings without Congressional approval, which holds the exclusive power to declare war according to Article I.

In his message, Trump also attacked other Democrats, such as Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, and Democratic representatives Jasmine Crockett (Texas) and Ilhan Omar (Minnesota).
The president defended his decision to attack Iran and pointed out that Democrats do not tolerate the victories of his administration. He stated that AOC and her allies "have reached the lowest poll numbers in Congressional history," and challenged Democrats to attempt impeachment again: "MAKE MY DAY," he wrote.
In her response, Ocasio-Cortez did not take long to strike back. In an ironic tone, she wrote: "Mr. President, don't take your anger out on me, I'm just a dumb girl." She then added: "Take it out on whoever convinced you to betray the American people and our Constitution by illegally bombing Iran and dragging us into a war."

Additionally, in another exchange, AOC replied to Vice PresidentJD Vance, who had commented on his enthusiasm for the position. She wrote: "Maybe it's because he advised the president to illegally bomb Iran."
The conflict between the two takes place amid speculation about Ocasio-Cortez's political future, considered by some as a possible Democratic presidential candidate for 2028, even though her poll numbers are not favorable at all.
Meanwhile, Trump, who already faced two impeachment proceedings during his first term, once again used that rhetoric as a political tool. Despite the criticism, the most recent impeachment attempt, led by Representative Al Green (Texas), failed resoundingly in the House of Representatives this Tuesday.

The majority of Democrats voted alongside Republicans to shelve the proposal, which accused Trump of abuse of power for ordering the attacks without Congressional approval.
Ocasio-Cortez was one of the few who voted against shelving the motion. In her opinion, the attacks on Iran without Congressional authorization constitute a serious violation of the balance of powers.
