Doom: The Dark Ages, the latest installment of one of the most recognized first-person shooter franchises in the industry, has permanently reduced its price to $50, a change that may be particularly appealing to those who have not yet decided to join the new chapter of the saga.
The change coincides with an update to Doom Anthology, the collection of titles from the franchise marketed by id Software, which is now available again with the Premium edition of The Dark Ages included in the package.
Doom Anthology adds the Premium edition
The new configuration of the collection incorporates not only the base game but also the content corresponding to the Premium edition of Doom: The Dark Ages. Among that content is Revelations, the DLC announced for this installment.
However, there is an important difference for those who had previously purchased Doom Anthology. Owners of the previous version of the package will not automatically receive The Dark Ages in their libraries, so they will need to purchase it separately if they want to complete the collection.
