The drama Caro Ibarra experienced: her house caught fire while she was traveling
The host shared on social media how she is coping with the difficult situation after the fire that destroyed her home
Caro Ibarra is going through a difficult time after a fire in her home destroyed almost all her belongings. The incident occurred while she was on vacation, and although there were no injuries, the material losses are significant.
From her Instagram account, where she has more than 700,000 followers, the renowned host shared striking images of her home and sincerely described how she is facing this difficult episode. "I'm at my house, I came back from my trip and this is my room. This is how the air conditioner ended up. The worst part is that I don't have any more clothes," she said, visibly affected.
However, with strength she added: "I'm trying to take it calmly. There was a short circuit in my closet and 95% of my clothes burned (70 kilograms / 154 pounds). I've already cried a lot, but I'm not going to cry anymore because I'm fine, my son and my dog are fine, and because we're alive."

The host also asked her followers and brands for help: "Barters are welcome if you want to help me," she wrote with warmth, despite the sadness over the magnitude of the losses. Caro explained that although the house was not completely burned, it is uninhabitable: "The whole house is black and the walls in my room are torn up. I don't have towels, sheets, blankets, or clothes."
The tragedy was quickly brought under control thanks to the intervention of the firefighters. However, the consequences are devastating: the electrical installation was rendered unusable and, according to the electrician, it will take about a month to restore it. "The house is full of soot and has a toxic smell. It could have been much worse and, fortunately, I have my mom's house to live in for at least two months," the host explained.

On her streaming show Modo Zapping, Caro confessed that she spent the weekend crying, although she expressed gratitude for the support she received. "I'm receiving some beautiful messages from people I didn't expect. A couple of people asked me for my alias to make transfers, but I'm embarrassed. I can't do that," she said emotionally.
Despite the blow, Caro remains in good spirits and even joked about the little clothing she has left: "It could have been much worse, that's why I'm a little happy. It's still sad. I only have two pairs of jeans now," she said with a laugh. The host is facing this difficult time with fortitude, surrounded by the affection of her followers and colleagues, and with the hope of rebuilding her home.
