Dybala spoke about the rumors linking him to Boca and clarified his current situation
The forward from Córdoba spoke about his current situation at Loba and the possibility of playing for Xeneize
In recent hours, Paulo Dybala's name has once again appeared on Boca's radar, after his partner, Oriana Sabatini, shared her perspective on what the club should do to sign him during an interview with the streaming channel Olga.
Following the reaction, the forward himself spoke on the program "Sería Increíble" on the same network, where he was asked about the possibility of joining the Xeneize team and sharing a locker room again with Leandro Paredes, his teammate in Rome during recent seasons.
The "Joya"'s response came amid laughter and with a touch of realism: "I see it as unlikely due to my contractual situation with Roma. I have a contract until the middle of next year, with the possibility of renewing for one more year," explained the Cordoban.
However, he did not stop joking about his relationship with Paredes and the traditional barbecues they used to share: "We lost some friends we used to get together with a lot, so I guess there will be fewer barbecues, but surely there will still be one or two," he remarked with a laugh.

When he was invited to join Boca to take part in those gatherings, he replied humorously: "The thing is, if I know there's someone who makes barbecue better than I do, I don't get involved. No, no, I have a contract here with Roma, so for now I'll keep eating barbecues here in Rome."
The contractual situation in Italy
At 31 years old, Dybala is at a pivotal moment in his career. His contract with Roma ends in mid-2025, although there is an option to extend it for one more season. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Italian management intends to discuss the Argentine's future once the current transfer window closes.

"Roma will discuss this with the player after the window closes, and perhaps even later. Both Gasperini and Massara want to assess Dybala's adaptation to the pace of the new Roma, especially regarding his physical condition," the sports outlet detailed.
This way, the dream of the Xeneize fans will have to wait, since for now the "Joya" is focused on staying in Serie A and continuing to shine in Italy.
