In Davos, Elon Musk claimed that artificial intelligence will surpass all of humanity in just five years

A warning from Elon Musk once again shook the global debate on artificial intelligence. At the World Economic Forum in Davos, the entrepreneur stated that AI will surpass any individual human being.

According to his projection, in just five years the technology will be more intelligent than all of humanity combined. The proposal set off alarms among political leaders and businesspeople who followed the talk in Switzerland.

Elon Musk's prediction that ignited the debate

During a public conversation in Davos with Larry Fink, CEO of BlackRock, Musk was direct. He said that the advance of artificial intelligence no longer follows a linear logic.

For the founder of Tesla, SpaceX and xAI, the growth is exponential and has rendered all previous projections obsolete. What previously seemed like science fiction would now have concrete timelines. The entrepreneur emphasized that this scenario will not only impact technology: it will force a rethinking of the economy, employment and the meaning of human work.

"Artificial intelligence will soon be more intelligent than all humans together", Musk declared before a packed auditorium. The phrase became one of the most talked-about moments of the World Economic Forum.

The regulation of AI was one of the central themes of the meeting in Davos. The magnate's intervention reignited the debate on limits, controls and responsibilities.  According to Musk, the challenge is not to stop the advance, but to learn to coexist with systems that surpass human cognitive capacity.

Humanoid robots in everyday life

The entrepreneur also spoke about the role of robotics: he anticipated a future in which humanoid robots could be more numerous than people. He even suggested that these machines could take care of children or pets. The idea caused enthusiasm in some sectors and concern in others.
