Emilia Mernes Explained the Reasons Why She Decided to Settle Abroad

Emilia Mernesmade a key decision for her professional career. After establishing herself as one of the most influential artists in Argentine pop, the singer announced that she will leave the country to settle in  Miami, a city that has become an epicenter of the Latin music industry.

In a recent interview with  Billboard, the performer of No se ve explained the reasons behind this change and the impact it will have on her artistic future.

"In Argentina there are producers I continue to work with and with whom I am very close friends. My country has given me unbelievable things, it gives them to me to this day. I have everything there, it's everything to me. But I made the decision to come to Miami for a while to try new opportunities and open other doors", the singer detailed about her new stage.

Although Mernes emphasized that Argentina will remain her home, she explained that her decision is due to the possibility of expanding her career in a broader and more competitive market.  "On a professional level, what happens in the industry here in Miami is very big. You constantly run into new artists and producers", she noted about the dynamism of the music scene in the American city.

Despite the distance, the artist assured that she will maintain a constant connection with her home country: "I will always be returning to my home anyway, I can't let go of that".

The announcement of her move caused divided opinions among her followers. While many applauded her pursuit of professional growth, others compared her to figures like María Becerra, who has decided to continue living in Argentina despite her international success.

Happy for this new stage of her life, upon her arrival in Miami the first thing the singer decided to do was upload a video in her new apartment. In it, she was seen dancing to her new hit called Bunda in collaboration with Luisa Sonza, a renowned Brazilian artist. She can be seen wearing a two-piece orange outfit. It consisted of a miniskirt and a sweater, as always essential accessories in her iconic looks, she opted to add some sunglasses.
