Accompanying an image of himself squatting on the grass of MetLife Stadium, the Liverpool player began by expressing the pain of having come so close to the two-time championship. "We were so close… that’s why it hurts so much. But no one can take away everything we experienced during this World Cup. What we felt is not normal.
