The emotional story of Paris: the rescued dog that entered Big Brother

Paris is a greyhound dog that suffered abandonment and mistreatment and found a new opportunity. Now, the Gran Hermano (Telefe) house becomes her refuge to receive the love she always deserved.

Paris, a greyhound dog between 6 and 7 years old, was found in March 2022 in General Villegas, Buenos Aires province. She was abandoned on the sidewalk when she was about to give birth, in a critical situation.

A rescue at the right moment

Supportive neighbors took her to a veterinary clinic, where she received urgent medical attention. Just two days after the rescue, Paris had her puppies, who quickly found adoptive families. However,  she had to remain hospitalized to recover from her injuries and mistreatment.

A new opportunity

As a result of abandonment and mistreatment, Paris lost the vision in her left eye. With time and the help of specialists, she managed to heal both physically and emotionally. Today she is a calm, affectionate dog ready to receive the love that was denied to her for so long.

The presence of pets in the Gran Hermano house is a tradition that has been maintained since the reality show's return to Telefe's screen.  In the 2022/23 edition, Mora and Caramelo were adopted by Marcos Ginocchio and Romina Uhrig. In 2023/24, Arturo became a companion to Martín Ku, who adopted him after his elimination. Now,  Paris arrives at this temporary home in search of the definitive family that will provide her with the love she so desperately needs.
