Davoo Xeneize replied with poise to the ESPN journalists who criticized him
Amid the crisis at the Ribera club, Chavo Fucks and Daniel Arcucci launched criticism against Boca's streamer and other content creators
Diego Fucks and Daniel Arcucci launched criticisms against Davoo Xeneize and other content creators. The streamer chose not to get involved in controversies, but he left some spicy comments.
On his ESPN show, Chavo referred in a critical tone to the rise of sports streamers, indirectly targeting Davoo Xeneize without naming him directly.
Arcucci y Fucks contra Davoo
"There are some kids who talk for six hours all night and become millionaires overnight, who think they know everything. Now they're picking up the gauntlet," he said.
At his side, Arcucci added: "Then they go out with those who have millions of followers and speak for the first time. For the first time it turns out they're managing things poorly, you just realized, kid."
Finally, Fucks finished ironically: "Tremendous, now we have a new enemy, we're lowering the average age of our enemies."
Davoo's response
The streamer chose not to strike back, but he did express his perspective with a calm and thoughtful response during a livestream.
La respuesta de Davoo
"I'm not interested, I wasn't interested, and I'm not going to be interested in fighting that battle. You're not going to see me reacting, giving my opinion, or making content about that because I don't feel comfortable. I'm not criticizing anyone, I'm simply explaining who I am," he explained.
He also acknowledged the exposure that comes with his role and accepted the criticism with maturity: "When you give your opinion and you have visibility, you have to deal with the backlash. If that backlash means people insult you, you'll have to deal with it."
He also clarified that he doesn't plan to give space to that kind of conflict: "I'm not going to give it visibility on my channel either because I'm not interested. I'm not going to look for a war where, for me, there isn't one."
The most ironic side of the response
More relaxed, Davoo also allowed himself a touch of humor when referring to how his community reacts when he's criticized.
La otra respuesta de Davoo
"When it happens that people from other fields throw shade at me, the community comes out to defend me. I thank them from the bottom of my heart... but there's something that doesn't add up for me," he said ironically.
He continued: "Many defend me by saying "Hey, don't insult Davoo, only we can insult him!" I mean, it's not that they defend me because I'm a good person, but because they want to have the priority to insult me."
The clash reflects an increasingly common tension between traditional media figures and new personalities from social networks, who today also build their own agenda and audience. Davoo, true to his style, chose not to escalate the conflict and relied on his community, with a bit of irony and a lot of composure.
