The FBI raided John Bolton's residence for possessing classified information
Trump's former security adviser and neoconservative ideologue is under investigation for possessing classified government documents on his property
The FBI raided the home this morning of former National Security Advisor to President Donald Trump during his first term, John Bolton, as part of an investigation into the alleged possession of classified government documents.
Federal agents were present at multiple residences owned by the architect of the Iraq war, including the house where Bolton currently resides, located in the city of Bethesda, in the state of Maryland.
Although Bolton is neither detained nor under arrest, sources involved in the operation have confirmed to Fox News that the raid is related to the possible possession of classified government documents by Bolton. The investigation into this possible crime began years ago, but was halted by the Biden administration and has now been resumed by Trump.

"No one is above the law"
The FBI leadership celebrated this progress in the investigation. The agency's directors, Kash Patel and Dan Bongino, stated in a message on the social network X that "no one is above the law," adding that "FBI agents are on a mission,"
Meanwhile, the Attorney General of the United States, Pam Bondi, has defended in another message posted on the same platform that "America's security is non-negotiable" and that the White House will always act "in pursuit of justice."
After serving as Trump's advisor for about two years, Bolton became a staunch critic of the Republican leader after he ignored his belligerent ambitions. The president has repeatedly emphasized that if he had followed Bolton's ideas, the United States would already be in World War VI.
