Fernando Burlando harsh with Morena Rial: 'I was her lawyer, not the dad'

Amid the controversy, Fernando Burlando broke his silence and explained the reasons why he stopped being Morena Rial's lawyer. 

In an interview with Alfonso Oliva for Intrusos, the attorney clarified that his decision was not due to professional disagreements, but because of the need for the young woman to take on her personal responsibilities.

Burlando stated: "I was her lawyer, not her dad, there are things she has to fulfill and others the lawyer". The lawyer defended his work, highlighting that he was the only one who achieved Morena's freedom in the case she was involved in.

"I fulfilled my duty and it's proven, she's the only one who is free, the rest are all in prison", he emphasized.

The lawyer also expressed his wish for Morena to face her life responsibly.  "I hope she faces her life as it should be. As a mom should, with responsibilities, facing problems personally: I wish her the best", he concluded.

Morena Rial reacts to Burlando's resignation

In contrast, Morena Rial gave her version of the conflict on social media and in an interview. The young woman denied that Fernando Burlando had resigned, clarifying that she was the one who decided to revoke his services as a lawyer. "To begin with, I revoked Burlando because I wasn't pleased with his handling of things," she stated.

Morena also clarified that, although Burlando had obtained her extraordinary release, she decided to hire a new lawyer: Miguel Ángel Pierri, who according to her, is "super alert and super kind".

In an ironic tone, she referred to Burlando's work, insinuating that he wasn't as committed to her case.
