Amid the controversy, Fernando Burlando broke his silence and explained the reasons why he stopped being Morena Rial's lawyer.
In an interview with Alfonso Oliva for Intrusos, the attorney clarified that his decision was not due to professional disagreements, but because of the need for the young woman to take on her personal responsibilities.
Fernando Burlando's explanation for his departure
Burlando stated: "I was her lawyer, not her dad, there are things she has to fulfill and others the lawyer". The lawyer defended his work, highlighting that he was the only one who achieved Morena's freedom in the case she was involved in.
"I fulfilled my duty and it's proven, she's the only one who is free, the rest are all in prison", he emphasized.
The lawyer also expressed his wish for Morena to face her life responsibly. "I hope she faces her life as it should be. As a mom should, with responsibilities, facing problems personally: I wish her the best", he concluded.
