The anticipation for GTA 6 has exploded again on social media after a supposed leak linked to Best Buy. According to various reports and screenshots shared online, pre-orders for the new game from Rockstar Games would begin on May 18, 2026.
The information is said to have emerged from an email sent to commercial affiliates of the American chain, where the start of reservations for the highly anticipated title is directly mentioned.

The Best Buy Leak
The information began to circulate after several accounts dedicated to Grand Theft Auto published images and videos of a supposed internal email from Best Buy.
The message indicates that the promotional campaign corresponds to GTA 6 and that pre-orders would officially start on May 18, just five months before the expected release on November 19, 2026.
So far, neither Rockstar Games nor Best Buy have officially confirmed the authenticity of the leaked email.

The Pre-order Could Clear Rumors of a New Delay
The possibility of reservations being enabled in the coming days has also fueled another theory among fans: that GTA 6 would finally maintain its release date without suffering another delay.
In recent months, speculation about possible delays has increased, especially due to the enormous level of technical ambition of the project and the secrecy maintained by Rockstar.
