The first images of Facundo Moyano were released after being detained by the City Police, following the incident that occurred early Monday morning in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Belgrano involving Candela Arizaga. The photographs, taken inside the police station, began circulating a few hours after the operation and show the former congressman while he remains at the disposal of the Justice.
The released images show Moyano dressed in a black t-shirt. One of the photographs was taken from the front and the other from the side, both inside the police station where he was held while judicial proceedings advance.
The former legislator was detained after an incident that occurred around 5 a.m. in a building located on Avenida del Libertador. According to the investigation, a 23-year-old woman left the place asking for help and reported having been assaulted.
According to the police report, both Moyano and the woman were under the influence of drugs at the time of the police intervention. The young woman was taken to the Pirovano Hospital, where she received medical care, psychological and psychiatric assistance, in addition to undergoing toxicological tests.
