Flavio Azzaro against Granados, Occhiato, and de Brito: 'They're going to destroy streaming'
The sports journalist denounced the purchase of bots on the Olga, Luzu, and Bondi channels and promised to go all the way in the battle
Sports journalist Flavio Azzaro sparked controversy in the streaming world by accusing several of his colleagues of using bots to inflate the number of viewers on their channels. In his program, he launched harsh criticisms against Migue Granados, Nicolás Occhiato, and Ángel de Brito, claiming that these practices could damage the platform's credibility.
After leaving television due to various controversies, Azzaro found a new professional opportunity in streaming. He founded the channel 'Azz' in 2021, with the program 'El Loco y el Cuerdo' as its flagship, where alongside Andrés Ducatenzeiler he tackled football and politics without censorship. Over time, his proposal grew to reach 9 hours of daily programming on YouTube, with different formats led by journalists like Jerónimo Torres Santoro, Guillermo Vetere, and Diego Yudcovsky.
Azzaro and his bet on streaming
Azzaro also leads 'Azzaro al Horno', a space for interviews and live or edited reactions, focused on Argentine football and the National Team. His direct and unfiltered style has been a trademark in each of his interventions.

Accusation of bot purchase and attack on the competition
On March 17, live on 'CEF',Azzaro launched strong accusations against OLGA and LUZU TV, platforms of Migue Granados and Nicolás Occhiato, respectively. Without mincing words, he stated that these channels use bots to inflate their audience and deceive brands. "I'm going to take them on and tell everything they do," he said.
"We're humble, we don't buy bots like the others," he stated. Jero Torres Santoro reinforced the idea by ironically commenting on the artificial presence of viewers: "Guys, play it cool, turn off the bot machine when you play music." Azzaro insisted that the audience numbers didn't add up and assured that he would investigate the matter thoroughly.

"If Mario Pergolini is watched by 18,000 people, how can it be that others have 60,000 connected!" he questioned. Additionally, he was determined to expose these practices: "I'm going to talk about who buys the bots and how they do it, because if not, they're going to destroy the platform."
Although he avoided directly pointing to the owners of OLGA and LUZU TV, he hinted that someone within those structures might be behind the bot purchases. He also included in his criticism the channel 'Bondi', where Ángel de Brito and Esteban Trebucq participate, adding them to his list of suspects.
Azzaro made it clear that his intention is to preserve the credibility of streaming and ensure that brands are not deceived by inflated figures. With his combative style, he promised to continue revealing information about this alleged digital fraud.
