Florencia Peña revealed how her eldest son 'lost' 8 million dollars.

The Kirchnerist actress revealed how Toto Otero gave up a potential fortune to pursue his true calling

In a recent and revealing interview, Florencia Peña surprised everyone by sharing how her eldest son, Tomás "Toto" Otero, turned down a possible fortune of 8 million dollars to pursue his true calling, which was very far from sports. Far from having regrets, the actress celebrated her son's courage in prioritizing his happiness over the guaranteed financial success that the young man had.

From a very young age, Toto showed great aptitude for sports and even trained at clubs with professional prospects. Everything indicated that his future would be linked to professional soccer. However, over time, he discovered that this path did not completely fulfill him. It was then that he made a decision that, according to his mother, distanced him from a possible millionaire career. "He decided at one point and said 'I want to live,'"  Peña revealed with pride for the bold decision Tomás made.

The actress shared that, years later, when her son learned about Federico Redondo's multimillion-dollar transfer—his former soccer training partner—to Inter Miami, he sent her a message with humor: "Look what I missed out on," referring to the eight million dollars he could have earned if he had continued his career as a professional player. But far from regretting it, Toto stood firm in his decision, and today his project is more successful than ever.

Instead of continuing in sports, Toto chose pastry as his life path. This is how  "Lo de Toto" was born, his culinary venture that grew rapidly thanks to social media, which exponentially boosted sales. There, the young man offers various options such as muffins, pound cakes, cakes, and homemade alfajores. With dedication and passion, he perfected his craft and obtained his professional pastry chef degree.

Florencia Peña, far from reproaching his decision, expressed her full support for her eldest son: "I always tell him that the most valuable thing is to do what fills your soul. It doesn't matter how much money you can earn if you're not happy with what you do." The actress emphasized that emotional well-being and personal fulfillment must be above any external expectations.
