French police shot dead a Muslim immigrant who stabbed five people
The striker began the assault in a hotel from which he had been evicted for not paying for the room
On Tuesday, September 2, the French police shot and killed a violent Muslim immigrant suspected of stabbing five people in the port city of Marseille, in the south of the country.
According to the prosecutor's office, one of the victims is in critical condition. The striker, who is of Tunisian nationality, began the attacks in a hotel from which he had just been evicted for nonpayment, and then continued on a very busy shopping street, according to prosecutor Nicolas Bessone.

“It seems that he tried to attack people blindly and for no reason”, Bessone stated. The first attack was against his roommate, who was left in critical condition. Subsequently, he assaulted the hotel manager, who managed to flee to the street with his son; the young man was stabbed in the back. According to the prosecutor, both are in a state of relative emergency, although their lives are not in danger.
The Muslim criminal continued what the prosecutor's office described as an “uncontrolled massacre” on a busy street, injuring at least two people in the face with a stick, which he carried along with two knives. A police patrol intervened and ordered him to drop the weapons, but when he refused, he was neutralized by gunfire. Despite efforts to revive him, the Tunisian immigrant died.

Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau is scheduled to travel to Marseille on Tuesday night, with a visit to the city's police headquarters, according to his office.
