Everything was prepared in advance
On October 7, 2023, the day of the massacre perpetrated by Hamas and Islamic Jihad in Israel, the machinery of propaganda and jihadist hatred was activated; accompanied by emblems and iconographies where the flag they raise stands out and with which they flood public spaces.
Radical Islamism had already captured a significant part of the press with its money, as well as relevant companies, social and cultural institutions of societies, university movements, and a whole collective spectrum related to the Western way of life; supported by an extremist left that ignores the real genocides occurring today in Sudan, Nigeria, or Syria.
Jihadist propaganda flooded social media and the press.
Just as Goebbels, Hitler's Minister of Propaganda in 1930s Germany, did, the phrase “Lie, lie, something will remain…” gained enormous dimension, the campaign of lies, proselytism, and indoctrination that distorts everything reached colossal and universal proportions.
The magnitude of the defamation implemented exceeds all limits: terrorists are labeled as journalists or doctors, sick children are photographed as part of a famine as nonexistent as the genocide of which the State of Israel is accused.
Jihadists insist on turning reality upside down by accusing “the Zionists” of what they themselves do; thus, according to them, Jews would be rapists (using dogs sounds better to them), they throw trap toys into Gaza to kill children, they torture civilians; the slogan is to lie, lie, lie, and lie, until the fallacy becomes a credible truth.
Every day, social media and the press inundate us with notes, fake videos, and photographs that attempt to demonize the Jewish collective and those who support them. In cities like Barcelona, there are Jews who are persecuted, harassed, insulted, and physically assaulted by groups that often wear the Palestinian scarf as a sign of identification.
Activists, some for pay and others out of ignorance, began their marches on the streets on the same October 7, where posters, stickers, and hundreds of graffiti proliferate calling for the destruction of the State of Israel with slogans like “from the river to the sea” or “free Palestine.”
The term “Jew” was replaced by “Zionist,” masking the hatred directed towards the same human group, a group that has ample experience in discrimination, persecution, and murder due to their human identity.
In some of those “resistance” marches, flags of Hezbollah or Hamas, perpetrators or partners of cruel terrorist attacks throughout the West, could be seen. But… they needed another flag to be able to victimize themselves, and so the Jordanian flag had its star removed to become a new symbol of hatred disguised as resistance and justice.
That Palestinian flag raised by some members of the cultural spectrum, by demonstrators, by politicians and public institutions that are legally obliged to maintain neutrality, is the current equivalent of a Nazi flag for a Jew or for anyone who values their freedom. The colors change, but the background of exclusion, harassment, hatred, and irrational animosity remains the same.
Once again, Jews have been forced to hide their identity to avoid aggression. They are victims of harassment, defamation, cancellations, and boycotts; encouraged by many irresponsible political authorities; winning the votes of the left and the recently nationalized Muslims in Spain allows them to maintain a political power where incompetence, corruption, and institutional disgrace of a fragile democracy prevail.
Dear reader, what begins with the Jews ends with the freedom and dignity of the entire democratic society when it is infected with the virus of antisemitism. There is too much evidence throughout history.
From the Pay for Slay (significant payments to those who kill Jews) implemented by the Palestinian Authority, to the use of the Palestinian flag as a symbol of resistance, there is a range of evil that has embedded itself in the free societies of the West.
