Gasoline and diesel: how to save up to 30% at YPF, Shell, Axion, and Puma in October

Motorists have different options to spend less. According to a survey by Clarín, in October it is possible to get discounts of up to 30% on gasoline and diesel with promotions from apps and banks.

The country's main oil companies -YPF, Shell, Axion, and Puma- have launched weekly and nighttime discounts that allow drivers to reduce spending at the pump. There are also additional discounts with credit cards, virtual wallets, and points programs.

YPF: stackable discounts with Serviclub and banks

Serviclub members who pay from the YPF App with QR have access to:

• 10% savings on Infinia on Mondays, with a weekly cap of $3,000.
• 6% savings every day, from 0 to 6 hours, with no cap.
• 5% extra for ACA members, up to $11,500 per month.

Additionally, YPF has agreements with banks that allow customers to add benefits: up to 30% with Macro Selecta, 20% with Comafi Único, 15% with ICBC, and weekly discounts with Santander, Hipotecario, and Ciudad.

Shell: benefits with Shell Box and banks

Those who refuel using the Shell Box app receive:

• 10% on Wednesdays on V-Power, with a cap of $4,000.
• Discounts of up to 20% with cards such as 365, Comafi, and extra benefits with Jumbo+ and Vea Ahorro.

There are also discounts with Banco Ciudad and other institutions, which can be combined depending on the payment method.

Axion Energy: discounts with ON and bank agreements

From the ON app, Axion offers:

• 10% on Mondays and Fridays on Quantium, with monthly caps ranging from $5,000 to $7,500.
• Extra benefits with Comafi, Ualá, BBVA, and Banco Ciudad, reaching up to 20% in some cases.

Puma Energy: weekly discounts and points

With the Puma Pris app, customers have access to:

• 10% on Wednesdays on all fuels, up to 50 liters per day.
• Points redeemable for vouchers of up to $18,000.
• 15% on Fridays with Banco Comafi, with a weekly cap of $7,000.

Other discounts at different brands

In addition to oil companies, there are agreements with banks to save at various stations:

• Banco Nación: 30% on weekends when paying with MODO BNA+ (cap $15,000 per month).
• Credicoop: up to 20% on Fridays, with weekly caps of $6,000.
• Patagonia: 20% on Thursdays, reaching 25% for Singular customers.
• Columbia: 20% on specific dates in October, with a refund of $8,000 per day.
