The mystery surrounding the suspicious deaths of Gene Hackman, his wife Betsy Arakawa, and their dog remains unsolved. The final autopsy report could take several more weeks.
Sources told the outlet TMZ that the New Mexico Medical Investigator's Office reported that after the initial autopsy, it will take an additional four to six weeks to obtain the results of the toxicology tests.
The crime scene left authorities perplexed due to puzzling details indicating a possible complex scenario. Upon entering Gene Hackman's property in New Mexico, investigators noticed that the front door was open. Apparently, Betsy Hackman was found in the bathroom of the house, next to a heater and pills scattered around.
