The media tension between Georgina Barbarossa and Gustavo Sylvestre has escalated in recent hours. Radio 10's host harshly criticized the hosting of the show A la Barbarossa (Telefe), specifically targeting the actress's role as moderator during the on-air confrontations between Nancy Pazos and Mariana Brey. From his radio show, Sylvestre appeared visibly upset. He questioned Barbarossa for not intervening more firmly during the discussions: "I'm already bothered that Georgina doesn't moderate. She's normalizing violence," he said. He also demanded respect among colleagues and called for debates with real substance.

When asked by A la tarde (América) after the journalist's remarks, Georgina Barbarossa was blunt: "El Gato can think whatever he wants. You can't please everyone," she said. Far from avoiding the controversy, the host defended her position and the tone of the show she leads every morning on Telefe. Regarding the accusation of promoting violence on television, she clarified: "We don't normalize anything. I think I have a lot of patience and I respect each one's opinions. But when they get violent, I bring them down," she stated.

The actress also acknowledged that some moments on the show make her uncomfortable. "Sometimes they get aggressive, and that's not good. In fact, I don't like it," she confessed about the tensions among her panelists.

Mariana Brey, the new friction factor

Barbarossa also addressed the impact of Mariana Brey's arrival on the show. According to her, the journalist added a new element to the discussions, especially because of her strong stances that oppose those of Nancy Pazos. "She came in with very strong ideas, contrary to Nancy's. That's where things are getting more heated now," the host analyzed, attributing part of the tense atmosphere to this new dynamic on the panel.
