Political violence has once again made its presence felt in Formosa, where activists identified with Kirchnerist governor Gildo Insfrán attacked young members of La Libertad Avanza (LLA) who were carrying out a campaign activity in the center of the provincial capital, beating those present and destroying materials belonging to the libertarian group.
One of the libertarian activists, identified as I. R., ended up with serious facial injuries and an eye injury after being surrounded and assaulted by a gang. "They saw me filming, they knocked my phone down and beat me up. They hit me while I was on the ground," he recounted with a bloodied eye in a video that quickly went viral on social media.

President Javier Milei himself shared the video on his X account and condemned the attack, pointing to the political responsibility of the Formosa regime and describing the incident as "Kirchnerism by the book." Representative Gabriela Neme, an opposition leader in the province, also denounced what happened: "Formosa remains a fiefdom where those who think differently are persecuted and beaten. This attack shows that fear is the tool of power," she wrote on X, sharing the image of the hospitalized young man.
The activist had to be taken to a health center with facial injuries and possible permanent damage to his left eye. His condition will be evaluated in the coming hours to determine the severity of the trauma.
