El Gordo Dan spoke about a possible candidacy: 'I can easily beat Cristina.'
After his statements, social media exploded with memes about the possibility of Gordo Dan facing CFK
The former president and convicted criminal for corruption, Cristina Kirchner, shook the political scene by announcing that she will run in the legislative elections as a candidate for the third electoral section of Buenos Aires province.
After the announcement, some influencers and figures from La Libertad Avanza commented on the matter. Among them, Daniel Parisini, better known on social media as “El Gordo Dan,” challenged the former president by stating: “I can beat her just by walking.”
Journalist Mariano Pérez, one of the panelists, told “Gordo Dan” that “your name has been mentioned a lot.” To which he replied: “Has my name been mentioned a lot? Yes, of course. I can beat her just by walking. Without a doubt, that's the truth.”

After his statements last night, social media was filled with memes about a possible candidacy of "Gordo Dan" to face Cristina Kirchner.
Hours earlier, journalist Eduardo Feinmann commented on who could be La Libertad Avanza's candidate to compete with CFK, and stated: “Young, extremely libertarian, not from the establishment... what if it's him?,” referring to Daniel Parisini.
The third electoral section, which brings together almost five million voters, constitutes a historic stronghold of Peronism, maintaining its hegemony almost uninterrupted for the last four decades, except for one instance in 1997.

This section includes 19 districts of Greater Buenos Aires and, according to data from the national census conducted in 2021, has a registry of 4,845,998 eligible citizens to vote.
The region has parliamentary representation of 18 provincial deputies and 9 senators (although this year only the seats in the lower house are up for renewal). It is a district of enormous importance for any political group.
The heart of the section is made up of the municipalities of La Matanza and Lomas de Zamora, which together account for about 1,660,000 voters, that is, approximately one third of the area's total registry.
