After the arrival of Miguel Ángel Russo at Boca, Mariano Herrón decided his future
After the elimination against Independiente, the interim head coach requested leave and in recent hours has solved his next steps
The recent elimination of Boca in the Torneo Apertura at the hands of Independiente marked the last public appearance of Mariano Herrón, who, after "not achieving the objective," decided to take a leave of absence.
After two weeks away from the position and with Miguel Ángel Russo's return to the club, the usual Reserve team coach would have chosen to resume his post this Wednesday at the Ezeiza Training Complex.

The coach, originally from Buenos Aires province, was the subject of various reports linking him to a possible permanent departure from coaching or even from professional activity. However, in recent hours it was confirmed that the coach will return to once again take charge of the reserve team, which is in a decisive phase of the Torneo Proyección.
It should be noted that Herrón was part of Russo's coaching staff between 2020 and 2021 as one of his assistants, which provides significant support for his return to the squad.

Meanwhile, the interim coach's official return will take place this Thursday, when Xeneize faces Atlético Tucumán in the round of 16 of the Torneo de Reserva.
What will happen to Pompei and Rudman?
The coaches who took charge of the team during the break and Herrón's leave will return to their usual roles within the club's youth divisions structure.
Rudman, who managed the Reserve team in recent matches, will resume his role as Fourth Division coach, while Pompei will once again lead the Eighth Division. This way, the organizational structure in the youth system returns to normal.
