The Office of the National Treasury Attorney announced that Argentina received unprecedented international support in the context of the litigation over the expropriation of YPF.
In total, twelve countries and organizations supported the national defense in the appeal of the turnover order (delivery of 51% of the company's shares), the execution of which was previously suspended by the administration of President Javier Milei.
United States and Israel: a strategic shift in favor of Argentina
Among the supporters, the role of the United States stands out, as for the third time it has supported Argentina in this judicial process. This gesture was described as a strategic milestone, since it demonstrates the strength of the bilateral relationship and the strengthening of the bond achieved under the current administration.

Meanwhile, Israel joined for the first time as amicus curiae, in a historic precedent that reinforces cooperation between both countries. According to the Office of the National Treasury Attorney, this support reflects both the seriousness of Argentina's arguments and the strengthening of bilateral diplomatic ties.
Europe, Latin America, and business organizations also participated
Together with the United States and Israel, Italy, Ecuador, Uruguay, Chile, Romania, and Ukraine also appeared as amicus curiae. At the business level, the United States Chamber of Commerce in Argentina (AmCham), the Bank Policy Institute, and the American Bankers Association contributed their technical input in favor of Argentina's position.
Meanwhile, France sent a diplomatic letter in support of the national legal position, consolidating the international front that supports the country in this key case.
