Sergio Lapegüe began a new stage in his television career with the premiere of "Lape Club Social Informativo" on América TV. After his resignation from TN, the renowned host joined the network with a magazine format, surrounded by a top-level team.

The debut took place this Wednesday, March 5, after "Desayuno Americano" with Pamela David. Starting at 10:00, Lapegüe entered the studio and began his first program with an enigmatic message: "Thank you very much, thank you, thank you, thank you. You don't know who came. Wait a little bit."

Immediately afterwards, the host introduced his team, consisting of Mauro Szeta, Marina Calabró, Leo Paradizo, Mica Lapegüe, Mai Pistiner, and El Bicho Gómez. In a festive atmosphere, Paradizo and Gómez lifted him up to celebrate his arrival at the network.

"Thank you all, truly, from the heart. For the wait, three months. For having assembled such a wonderful team, with people I've known for many years, we're all friends," expressed an emotional Lapegüe.

Thanks and first steps

The journalist also dedicated words of gratitude to América TV: "I want to thank América, which is now our new home. Thank you truly for welcoming me with open arms." He also mentioned Juan Cruz Ávila, who encouraged him to take on the challenge of hosting a morning magazine.

Lapegüe highlighted the work of Anita Guevara and greeted Chato Prada, key in the production of the program. Additionally, he referred to the set design, which will be shown in detail as the programs progress.

He also anticipated that since it is "a Club," viewers will be able to "join" and shared the different communication channels with the audience, implying that the public will occupy a privileged place for the 3 hours of the program.

With renewed energy, he closed his presentation with the phrase: "Sh... let's get to work." This way, "Lape Club Social Informativo" began its first broadcast, consolidating a new stage for the host after his 34 years of career at TN.
