The countdown has begun for a historic event for the sport in Córdoba: for the first time, Los Pumas and the legendary All Blacks will face each other in this province.
The match will take place on Saturday, August 16, starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Mario Alberto Kempes Stadium, for the first round of the Rugby Championship.
The match will be notable because the albiceleste squad led by Felipe Contepomi is filled with players from Córdoba, among whom Juan Cruz Mallía and Santiago Carreras stand out.

The Argentine delegation will arrive this Thursday and will stay at the Quorum Hotel, on La Voz del Interior Avenue, and will train at the Palermo Bajo club.

Meanwhile, the New Zealanders will be based in Buenos Aires and will arrive in the Docta only two days before the match. They will spend the night at the Quinto Centenario Hotel, near downtown.

The official highlighted that the rugby match will bring a series of economic benefits to the hotel, gastronomy, and transportation sectors, among others.
Also present were the president of the Córdoba Sports Agency, Agustín Calleri, and authorities such as Oscar "Pichi" Campana and Marcelo Rodio.
The Córdoba native Félix Páez Molina, vice president of the Argentine Rugby Union, highlighted the work of the amateur clubs that nurture the national team.
Also present were Fernando Pérez, vice president of the Córdoba Rugby Union, and Rodrigo Escribano, CEO of BS Group, the sports management company in charge of marketing the event.
The Kempes field for the Pumas-All Blacks
La Derecha Diario Córdoba was able to confirm that the field at Mario Kempes Stadium is in optimal condition. "We left it a little higher than for soccer matches," said an employee of the Córdoba Sports Agency.
Talleres, which will host Lanús this Friday, will be the last to use it before the big rugby match between Argentina and New Zealand.
