GTA 6: Rockstar confirmed that it will not have microtransactions or generative AI

Greg Miller from Kinda Funny also specifically asked Rockstar about the use of generative artificial intelligence in GTA 6.

GTA 6 will have exclusive content in its Ultimate Edition

The absence of microtransactions does not mean that all editions of the game will have exactly the same content. Rockstar will offer an Ultimate Edition with exclusive items.

This edition will be priced at $99.99, compared to $79.99 for the standard edition. The difference is $20.

Exclusive content includes cosmetic packs, cars, weapons, and some shops. Among these are the tattoo shop Electric Fang and the clothing store Stock 305.

An official support page from Rockstar confirmed that those who have the standard edition will be able to purchase a upgrade to the Ultimate Edition separately.
